While we have a special focus on women's health, we welcome everyone.
Is alternative plant medicine legal in Australia?
Alternative plant medicine was legalised in Australia in 2016 under the Special Access Scheme. Medical doctors can prescribe alternative plant medicine in Australia, provided they receive approval from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
The doctors at Women's Telehealth are authorised prescribers.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
You do not need a referral to book a consult at Women's Telehealth.
Is my consult covered by Medicare?
At this point you can't claim your consult fees with Medicare.
Who is not eligible for alternative plant medicine?
According to the TGA people with the following conditions should not use alternative plant medicine.

People with psychotic, mood or anxiety disorders.

People who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.

People with instable cardiovascular diseases.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your consult more than 24 hours in advance, the price paid for the consult will be refunded to you. We reserve the right to charge you the full price for the Women's Telehealth Services and you will not be entitled to a refund for the Price if you cancel less than 24 hours before the time of your Booking,
